S & R Gift World specializes in a variety of unique gift items, personalized gift baskets for all occasions and Promotional Advertising products. Sharon Phoenix is the sole proprietor and has a bachelor degree in Business Management with a minor in Business Administration.
Products Offered are intended to attract the consumers desire to purchase for home, office, and special events. We have suppliers such as Frederick Douglas Designs, 26 California Bazar Inc, Candle in the Wind, Afrocentric Wholesale, African American Expressions, Carole Joy Creations, Inc. Amplic USA, Greeting Cake Company, Bath and Body, Kaeser and Blair and many others. The items received from these suppliers consist of, but not limited to porcelain figurines, home decor and art, Candlescape and more. We also provide a large selection of promotional advertising items. This includes logo and non-logo products. We have items for the sports lover, such as golf figurines and accessories, NFL, NBA, and our racing fans.
History of the business began February 1996 as a hobby. In 1997 our first website was created which was semi-productive. For the next two years the company's focus was on marketing the website. In May 1999, we started participating in trade shows and Business Expos. As a result of this, a strong consumer awareness and interest began. Primary support and interest begun through networking with the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Nevada State Bank employees, Nevada Power Company, Calvary Southeren Baptist Church, WIN (Women in Network), Women's Chamber of Commerce of NV (WCCNV), Moms in Business Network (MIBN), Victory Missionary Baptist Church, and others. S & R Gift World obtained several contract with local casinos. We have fulfilled over $7500.00 worth of merchandise for the gift shop at the Mirage and the property in Biloxi, Mississippi when owned by Steve Wynn. We service several other casinos and non-profit organizations. We have a current on-going contract with Nellis Air Force Base, which begun in 2003. Previously we had a two year contract with the Klondike Hotel and Casino, which has now closed.
